Chief is out of Big Iron and Tarts Gracie. Beautiful redtick and built right. Wired 440. Leaves quick and tries to get treed. Pretty good mouth. Will get deep if he needs to. Dead silent on most tracks but will open if it’s hot. Bawl chop locate and chop on the tree. Nice tree dog but trees according to the track. Checks himself on a bad track a little to much at times. Is an accurate hound and trees coons. Will tree a possum but not to bad on them. Likes to meet off the tree on bad tracks. If he leaves a tree it isn’t right so just call him off and resend him. Can take correction. Tone broke and comes when he’s called. I don’t use a leash on him unless I tie him at the tree. Loads himself. He’s just a great pleasure dog and I enjoy hunting him. Hasn’t been hunted much since the season came in. Needs to be tuned up a little. 800$ buys him. Don’t lowball me on this hound. He’s worth more than that. Located in Hoke county N.C.
