This gyp is a real nice project. I bought her to hunt this winter and take to the spring SS. She has $110 won. She has a lot of the right tools. I lost my special female earlier this month and have no desire to hunt. I have 3 puppies off of that female and I don’t plan on hunting at all until they are ready to start. I’ll tell you what I know about this little dog. Under any other circumstances she would stay here, but she needs 30 days of hard hunting and sitting here she will waste. Every time I took her to the woods I could see an improvement!
-Big mouth. Bawl/chop on ground.
-HARD tree dog.
-Looks to spare
-Common sense
-Not afraid to split, but shes not against taking some of yours too. And will probably get it first!
-Walks good on a lead in the woods, loads in the box
-Good around the house
I have only cut her twice alone before we stopped hunting. First time she went a couple hundred yards and came back. Other time she made a legit den tree. This bitch hates a coon and I can see leaps and bounds being made if she had a couple killed to her. As far as I know she has never had one shot out. I have pictures and videos. She’s been pretty much sat up for the last couple weeks but she likes to go hunting.
$1800 OR I would trade for the right older dog 7 or younger that I could hunt these pups with. Doesn’t have to be anything super fancy, just one you can cut and they will go hunting. And can lay up for a week at a time and be ok with it.
