I’m getting ready to breed my old male this spring. He’s getting up there and really showing his age. I want to breed him so I can keep a piece of him in my kennel. When I hunted competition a lot, I was a kid and needed money so I’d hunt other people’s dogs and never ended up hunting him in the hunts except for a few times. Two of those 3 hunts he brought home a 1st place. One was the Ohio state Championship in 2011 and the other was at blue tick days in2011 as well I believe. Had I hunted him like I should have he would have easily made GrNtCh. I just kept him for myself. What I’m saying is... he’s a **** good dog. That’s why I wanna keep a piece of him around.

Anyways, I don’t have the time to hunt like I used to. So, when I make this cross, I will be looking for someone who has a good reputation to hunt the pup i keep and keep him in good shape. This will be mostly in the summers when I’m too busy to hunt.

I’ve been out of the game for awhile so I’m looking for recommendations on trustworthy guys who would be interested in hunting a top notch dog(once it’s here).
