Man I hate to hear that. Terry was one of my favorite TWBFA guys. I remember when he won the World Hunt in Ada, Oklahoma in '98. He also really enjoyed running beagles which some people didn't know. And he could put you on some Iowa pheasants as he did me. A real sportsman. Rip Terry. Family and friends are in my thoughts.

Sorry to hear this. Prayers. I hunted against Terry in the 70's at a Walker sectional in Iowa. Only time I drew him in a cast even though we were at many of the same hunts. I also hunted with him when he would come up to MN rabbit hunting many times. Good guy, fun to hunt with. He will be missed. He always had a good dog on the end of his leash both Walker coon hound or a Beagle.

Terry was a wealth of knowledge and a great breeder of Walker hounds and beagles. I always appreciated Terry's direct answers to my questions. I have many good memories of visiting with Terry and Barb.
Truly a great guy that will be missed. RIP Terry Daniel and prayers for his family.

Terry was a very special man. Him and Barb really helped me when I took over the sectionals years ago for the TWBFA. My prayers are with the family.

Terry was the real deal. I loved driving over to his club and visiting with him. He always had a story to tell and a smile on his face when we talked.
As a fellow Iowan I am proud to have met such a fine ambassador of our sport. He will be greatly missed, but he will definitely be remembered by many.
RIP ole buddy.. Give World Champion Duke a pat on the head from me and think of me when you cut him loose tonight.

Mercy.

He is a legend to old Walker breeders like me. You can find his dogs way back behind some famous coonhounds today.

In 1978 I moved to marsalltown, Iowa to work and met Terry and Barb soon afterward. I was a young man then and 6 hours from home. Terry and Barb became good friends and invited me down for several home cooked meals and then we would go hunting. Terry always had great dogs. He was also a great dog trainer. At one time he had 4 Grand Nites in his kennel. Few can say that but here is the deal. He raised, trained and hunted each one of them from a pup. It’s not easy to finish a dog to Grand Nite especially back in the late 70’s when hunts drew big crowds. It was my honor to know and hunt with Terry and I often think of Terry and Barb over 40 years later.

I met Terry in 1998 at the world hunt finials in Ada,Ok when his dog Duke won it. I was in the final cast with him that night and even tho I didn’t win the cast and the title of world champion, it was very pleasing to see the excitement of terry when we returned to the headquarters and found out a dog he bred, raised and trained was being crowned “World Champion”. He was a good man and earned that title and the respect of many over the years. Rest In Peace Terry until we can meet again and cut em loose!!!

Sorry to hear this. Just drove by Terry's area not too long ago and thought of Terry. Loved visiting with him at the LeGrand club. Loved even more having him as guide. Always called him my lucky guide. Thanks Terry you'll be missed by many.

RIP Terry

Just wanted send condolences to Barb and family on their loss. Terry was a good friend and hard hunter with good dogs that I had competed against since 1970. I really looked forward to chat with him in recent years when at Legrand, since he didn't travel to other hunts anymore and piece of Barbs' great homemade pies (especially the raisin). Take care, Ron.
