That is pretty much how I see it also, I will only kill a few coon and skin them out. Trying something new this year sending some into get tanned will try to sell a few for wall hangings at the local bow shop and range. I worked 10 years for the County Environmental Dept. and we collected and shipped rabies specimens for rabies testing. There has been an increase in calls and shipping over those ten yrs that tell me the fox and coon populations need controlled. So that is why I still hunt and skin some fur, reminds me of the old days and old ways.
