Is It gloom and doom??

Everything you read is about declining numbers, interest or something..Glad to see the other kennel club put a extra 80 dogs in the woods at the same event a year later..Yall just wait till Allen gets on the podium and announces everything they are putting ink to at autumn oaks or before.
UKC is gonna make coonhunting great again!!

It’s declining places to hunt that is leading to the declining interest to hunt. At least that’s the case around here. I told a buddy last night while we were hunting that we may have to learn how to start hunting in pine plantations. Between logging, deer hunters and flat out “no you can’t hunt here” it’s getting tough.

Thats about all we have had for about twenty years..The strips of bigger trees they left on the creek is good hunting from first frost until late march...Other than that its nasty thick....Them boys up there dont have a idea how nice they have it as far as coonhunting..When coonhunters were thick as all get go hides were high as a kite..coon hides get back to 20 bucks you will be surprised how many get a dog
