The best I ever owned, and one of the best I've ever been to the woods with, was out of Dancer. Mine was off Dancer X Fultz's Singing Suzy. As far as I know, they made this cross twice, and every dog in both litters were top hounds. Minklers Kansas Storm and Private Dancer were 2 of the more well known out of this cross. My dog was a big dog, who was as accurate as any coondog on the planet. He had a locate that would make the hair stand up on the back of your neck when you heard him come on a tree, and turn it over to a steady 120 bark a minute tree job. I'd say Dancer was one of the more overlooked stud dogs back in the day! I ask myself, why I didn't hunt mine in the hunts, and why didn't I stud him out! I placed him 8th at Walker Days in Kalamazoo, back in 1995, with 875+. He also dominated his cast in the Lee Crawford Invitational the following year, and was the only dog that wasn't Nt. Ch. or Grand Nt. Those were the only 2 hunts he was in, and he was only a 2 year old when at Walker Days!
