E collar ?

Can you have a shock collar on your dog during a night hunt as long as the transmitter is left in the truck during the hunt ?

no. for all they know you could have someone in the truck using it. same as having to use a tracking collar with no training ability

I use to use one on my dog for barking

Rule 17

17. ELECTRONIC DEVICES
Locating Devices:
The handheld of locating only devices may be
carried by the handler. Device may be used during
the hunt as outlined in current Locating Device
Rules. Locating Device Rules are provided in the
host clubs Event Packet and are also available on
UKC’s website. Lighted collars are allowed.
Controlling Devices:
Any handheld device capable of controlling a
dog (stimulating or toning) must be left in vehicle
and may not be used by handler or spectators until
dog wearing device is scratched and all other dogs
are recovered for re-casting.

This is what I was thinking....i like to run one on my dog so after the hunt I can go to the truck get my transmitter and tone him in if need be....
