Pup Trainer

I am listing a 7 year old (be 8 in October) registered walker male for sale. I have had this dog for three weeks and he does not suit me. He is chop/bawl on track and chop on tree. Decent mouth for age not booming but can hear him treed at 800 yards. He is not mean or trashy. He is pretty accurate considering I have seen 6 coons with him in 10 nights of hunting. Here is his downfall. Some nights he will hunt hard and look like a jam up coondog, other nights he will make one tree and on the second drop he will not hunt. He will go out a 100 yards and sit down. Some nights he has made multiple trees. I dont know why he does what he does and there is no set pattern. I do not hunt with anyone and I do not have another dog so I dont know if he would do this if there was another dog with him. He has treed coons at 178, 450, 700, 900 yards, and ran a big boar .7 miles this past Friday. I gave 350 for him and thats what it will take to buy him. He will tree coons and may act like a different dog with company. Every coon he has treed for me has been by his self. He will hunt by himself just never know what he will do after the first drop. He has been wormed and given heart worm medication as well since I got him. I will be more than happy to show him. All his coons have been in mountains or public land. Not feeder bucket coons. Please be serious if you text I have been around the block enough to know that 350 is dirt cheap for a dog that will tree you coons. Please no low ball offers and I would trade towards good cap lights or a T5 mini. I teach so please text first. 423-309-7037. Below is a video of him treeing.

Just got in

Took him by himself like everytime and dog went .61miles got treed, stayed there about 35 minutes til I got there and had a legit circle tree. Big cedar in a swamp couldn't see the top. Dog will always make a good first drop. Put him in deer country and he went on and did his thing. You can't buy a lightly started pup for the price I'm asking.

Dog wont take a shock or tone

The original guy i bought him from failed to tell me that you cannot tone or shock this dog if he is near a road or to come back in. I talked to another gentleman who had this dog and he informed me of this (at least some people still tell the truth) and this seems to be the issue with sitting down. If you are rough with a dog or shock one to come in than he definitely aint for you. I have had a few offers but as of now he is still here.

Dog

Glad you sold your dog, nice to see an honest man tell the truth, not just a bunch of bs to sell. Dave

thanks

No need to lie, it wont take long for the truth to come out. Honestly the dog treed more coons than some much higher priced dogs and titled dogs that I had in the past. He went to a young man in North Carolina to fill in the time between Bear seasons.
