Garmin questions

My alpha has birds eye on it. When i'm looking at screen and in top right corner it shows 150 yards when I zoom out to next setting and it show 250 yards the dog tracks go off and it only shows my rack where I walk... WHY????

Next???
When I was hunting Friday night I added a new collar to my alpha and dads 430. both units had problems tracking this collar for first few hours then it started working fine. (This collar is one we always use with no problem)... I powered down my unit to try see if it helped and it was like the map was burnt to screen for 10 min and I even had battery pulled out... why???

.

Quick fix to your tracks going away is hit the menu button and then select restore defaults. You need to go to the trip computer and reset all the old tracks and delete all your archived tracks. The latest update is suppose to help the track going away issue.
