I hunted with a Todie pup last night. It made seven trees and had four coons and three den trees.

The real hunts are right now when the leaves aren't on,Thats when you see real coon dogs and no slick treeing dogs getting saved from minus with the leaves on.

Oh my goodness, I am confused now. Are the "real" hunts in the Summer with the leaves on or the Winter with the leaves off? And just what makes a hunt a "real" hunt? Are some hunts not "real"? I just don't understand.

all the hunts are real to me.but with the leaves off it tells me what my dogs are doing theres no guess work either a coon a den or slick, but with the leaves on it saves a lot of dogs not minusing out being slick,

Mr Cooter, are the Grand American, Southern Redbone Days and Winter Classic not "real" hunts. Or are the "real" hunts only the ones that you attend?

hahaha Richard I didn’t see your reply and I know this wasn’t the answer you were hoping for but I didn’t mean real hunts so I could draw them. I meant I been seeing a lot of good things about toad pups lately and I wont be surprised seeing some of them in the winners circle of some of the larger attended hunts coming up in the next year 2018 that majority of which are held during the...more well foliaged months...that for some reason dogs with more then 2 colors on them seem to do particularly well at unless sox is talking about someone’s dog in perticular and is scared to name drop because it makes you look stupid like I did calling Keith Steve😂...i always forget posting on anyones thread with a moonlight dog in your signature requires such extreme political correctness and couth my apologies lmao

You know that if you have Moonlight in your signature you have a target on your back. But I don't discriminate. I am an equal opportunity poster. I think that everyone knows what you meant.

There were a few instances where I thought you were being nice, but I believe the correct term is Facetious. 😉 That’s a $3 word, kinda like a $10k dog.

I don't see what makes a different what bloodline as long as they reproduce coon dogs to win in the hunts, thats what I care about our beloved redbone hounds, the winners percentage is what a lot of hunters think, but it all depends on those hunters if they make it to the hunts more or less then others or be able to travel all around the country side and hunt.some of the great crosses might not ever get entered in a hunt.
