Welded Wire Kennels

Which brand do you guys recommend?? My old chain link panels have just about bit the dust!

I would really like to have 6x10 but haven’t seen any that size

The ones at tsc come in 5x10 amd 10x10 mine lasted,5 years then started rotting but I redid then with galvanized emt and put undercoating ing inside and bedliner outside hope they last a.omg time but there are some other brands that are a lot better made out of aluminum and stainless but your going to pay ! They told be 17 grand I bwlive for 8 6x12 kennels not cheap ! The worst thing on the tsc kennels is a male if you have females you should be fine ! And the 5x10 arent but about 300$

I got mine at menards they are master paws brand and in my opninion they are 100% all a guy needs they are good and a lot easier than the pocket book than some out there. All panels are 5 foot by 6 feet high they're 55$ and like 75$ for one with a door

Buy livestock panels with 4x4 or 2x4 squares that are 6 ft tall . A whole lot cheaper and will last forever

They're kind of expensive but I think they will be worth it in the long run, I've got the others u can get at Rural King/TSC and they all rust. I'm gona do a 4 dog run and they'll be 5' by 10' and it'll be around $2,400.

Since it’s stainless they should last forever so it’s not that bad really. HOPEFULLY it’s a good stainless and not the cheaper stainless that a magnet will stick to lol I think I might check them out some more cause in the long run it will save $$$$$

Only the hardware is stainless, the frame and wire are dipped in a galvinasied coating. Their web site tells all the information you need to get on them

I bought 6 chain link kennels made to my specs back in I think it was 1983, 1984.
I got them from a reputable local fence company. They were 4x8x5.
I did not get backs As they were going against a building. So basically 1/2 kennels. All hardware came with them.
I had just under 800 in them with sales tax.
They were made with 9 gauge link and powder coated.
I am still using them today over 33 years later .

The only rust I ever got was where a male dog kept urinating against it and that was on the bottom rail.
Also for some reason gate corners that I easily repaired with gate building corner pieces.
So All I am saying good powder coated steel ,whether welded or chain link, may give any of you all looking into a new kennel a life time of service.

i have the Retriever kennels sold at TSC. i really like them. my only complaint is the brass hardware that comes with it is kinda cheap. but still works great. theyve held up really well and ive bought the canvas covers for them which i really was surprised how nice they are... nice thick material and has held up real well. mine are the 5x10s. ill be buying another one in the near future.

if i had a little more $ i would have gone for the preifert. those are very nice built and will last forever.

If I were building more dog pens today I would go to a commercial fence dealer and buy commercial grade chain link (9 gauge I think). My pens are built with used fence and will last almost forever.

Preifert

My gosh they are expensive!! The heavy duty chain link is another option, but the pipe and corners is what rusts first... Do the have a heavier pipe?

Mason makes best chain link kennels I have seen they are all galvanized and stainless hardware and are wrapped evry strand !! They are as tight as weld wire ! They are expensive , I prefer the welded wire myself again the tsc aren't bad they give you a cheap powder coating and they will last 8 years or so with a male then I used 1.5 emt galvanized and rebuilt the. Pretty cheap and the way I did it they better last longer then I will ever need

The livestock goat ,horse panels would be my choice,They will flex and you could even make one like a round pen...Think they come in 4 and 5 ft high,Yoy can design and weld them together or use Hose clamps or heavy quick ties.If I were using chainlink I would get the heaviest gauge possible
