Trim their toe nails short. Time out is to be called. Pending Points are deleted and you have an hour to get your dog down or you are scratched.

i put dog boots on the tree climber i had . only thing that would keep her down on the ground . i had her in a r.q.e. and she got 20 feet up in the first tree of the night . .. i climbed the tree and with one other handlers leash and mine we got her handled and down down safe . shined the tree and it was slick and we all took or minus points like grown men . guess we should have called time out .lol i would think dogs handled at a tree where one dog was in the tree should be scored .only fair thing to do .

Had one fall 30 feet one night, luckily she only had a bad limp and fractured ribs for a few weeks. She quit climbing on her own.
