Reproduction of Performance

A proven REPRODUCER of the traits you value the most in your line of dogs is better than any pedigree pattern. It is technically possible to have littermates with different DNA, but not probable.
We all use the same words when describing our dogs, but the evaluation is grossly different between hunters. You probably have friends and hunting partners whos dog they value most are ones that you would not feed.
If you have 5 generations of a line then you know more than anyone else about it.
Selection of the most fault free individual in a litter usually produces better pups. I believe that the individual produces like the average ability of its littermates, but an outstanding reproducer is the exception to this. We all had litters where one is a cull and one worthy of breeding. Good luck Larry!

reproducing

very few litters have more than 2 good dogs in them sometimes a common dog in the litter reproduces better than the good dogs and 2 bloodlines sometimes click when breed together such as lipper X yadkin river also stylish coma X nailor and sackett blood on wipeout but usually its the female that increases your odds of better pups most hunters are looking for natural ability and hussle in a pup also some crosses work good and next generation produce poorly

Littermates DNA

Actually, each puppy within the litter will have different DNA, unless they are identical twins.

No disrespect intended but if I didn"t expect but two good pups out of a litter I would leave breeding to someone that did their homework and understands breeding.
Someone needs to do more homework on DNA and it's not honalieh.
