Well I’ve seen it all now!!!

I contemplated on whether or to post. Not because it’s bad it’s just I can’t stop laughing about it. Tonight on my way home with my pup I spotted something coming up out the ditch. It was a Redbone with a dayglo collar on and a chicken in his mouth. I tried to get a picture of it but it ran back into the ditch. I drove maybe 1/2 mile and there was a white Chevy Colorado pulled into a cut corn field with a box in the backend and I could see lights way out back. All I could think was I wonder if those guy wish they had a Garmin. But I guess if you don’t see it you don’t know what they are doing.
If you could have seen that hound, once he seen me he knew he was wrong. Tucked his tail and ran back into the ditch. Probably went and got another one. Redbones, 😂 😂 😂

Tar

Chicken was fresh (never frozen) free range (rage these days) what more can I say? Who knows? Richard may have trained that dog to fetch them chickens back to him. I hear those Redbones are pretty smart and we all know Richard is pretty sharp. Most of us prefer chicken to coon- I know I do. Lol. Dave

I start my pups on chicken. What is the matter with that? We don't have that many coon to trap. Pups will always tree a chicken. And it teaches them to tree layups.

Makes sense to me! Fried chicken is finger licking good , so says the colonel. Train them pups and eat some chicken at the same time ( pretty smart if you ask me ). Dave

I know a guy that raises blue dogs and trains them as pups with hot dogs I will tell him to try chicken so maybe he can get a lay up dog

This is a true story but it was 5 or 10 yrs ago. I turned 2 dogs loose close to an interstate interchange one night. I got one back but could not find the other. Then I got a call from a young lady who said she had my dog. She said she caught him in the parking lot of the KFC. When I got there she was feeding him a piece of chicken.

Something else

Me and my dad were Coon hunting one night. I carried a Coon back to the truck on my back and got back out there with him. Well we were sitting down and my little female cane in smelled my back and sat down and started treeing. Well my old man got up and half beat her to death and I said why did you do that dad. And he said she was slick treeing!!!😉😉😉

Buddy of mine said that his Redbone treed a wild turkey one night. He knocked it out and took it home and deep fried it the next day.
