Guiding

I have guided at our local hunts for over 25 years and it’s getting we’re a lot of our members will guide but don’t care to because you take a cast out and over time they learn your spots and the next thing you know someone is hunting your spots, the land owners think it’s you down there and when something happens (cattle chased out, field tore up ect.) they call you! Land owners don’t like the hassle so they shut off hunting to everyone then. Any suggestions on how you guys handle this?

Mitch it must be an Iowa thing cause the same thing happened here at the troy club. Me and my son lost about 800 acres of prime time coon hunting due to the lack of respect by a couple that ruined it for us. The farmer said he knew it wasn't us but to solve the problem he would just put a stop to it altogether. Really sucks when a fella tries to guide em to a really great spot and they repay ya this way. I feel your pain.

Guiding

The other problem is they turn loose in a small public spot and the dogs end up in your bigger spots right away and they say I have the right to retrieve my dog
