For those of you who have never got to experience Dual Grand Ch Moonlight Aftershock

I was going through some old video footage from a couple years back and ran across this video of Dual Grand Ch. Moonlight Aftershock and a walker pup I was training at the time who was ....believe it or not a half brother to Bellar's Get a Head Lil Red (on her walker side)
If you wonder what Moonlight dogs sound like on the tree....listen to this old boy. i think he was 6 at the time and this is him on about every tree he makes. This....is why I love to hunt redbones

There was a reason moonlight Kate was called miss tree dog and she shore could put it in her pups

I think what I like most about Aftershock is that he doesn't have to own the tree. By himself he is usually up on the side but with other dogs he will back off a couple feet and tree just as hard as when he is up on it. I have never seen any aggressiveness out of him either. He is one of the loudest redbones you run across....it may not seem like it in this video because this walker pups is extremely loud...but Shock never gets drowned out in a cast. I love a hard steady consistent tree dog and Aftershock, Moonlight Woody, and Rocky Top Jet are three of my all time favorite males from the last few years. If you have hunted with any of them...you probably remember the way they tree

I had some of them nights with him too Richard but then you take him the next night score 1100 and put an absolute show on...some of the beatings he gave the guys would just withdraw and wanna finish the last hour just watching him go

Shock

I have hunted with Shock and at least 5 of his off spring that were top notch! All tree dogs with big mouths and not afraid of the dark.

I may be going out on a limb here...but I'm going to say that Shock has probably bred more top high quality females than any stud on the current list...and most were probably within the last 2 years or less. I'm going to guess that 8 or 10 of those females were big winning Grand Nite Champions. Those offspring have not even really hit the radar yet...so I think we will see Shock rise like a shooting star on the current reproducers list and may even end up on top one day.
