Jared Hutcheson was picked as The Hunter of The Year by the American Redbone Coonhunters Association and his son Garrett was the youngest hunter on Thursday night. We couldn't ask for a better representative for our breed than either one.

I drew Garrett Saturday night. He is a good little coonhunter, very polite kid and pretty good handler too.
Congrats Jared on Hunter of the year. Your doing a good job with that boy. Keep him in the woods they grow up before you know it.

I was so proud of Garrett, I only expected him to want to hunt on Thursday night but he stuck with it for all three. That just shows that good cast members can make it fun for a kid. Cause in three cast they never got to score a coon and he never give up. Thanks to his cast members, his Papa Keith, and Richard for taking him out hunting. He really enjoyed it!!!!

Paige had a ball. I am very proud of her. I had a great time myself. We didn't win a thing, but it was so worth the trip. She is chomping at bits to finish Ginger. I'm sure she will get it done.

With youngsters like Garrett and Paige the future looks bright. Don, it was great hunting with y'all. Good luck with your pup. If you can keep her Coonhunting it will sure be a lot cheaper than those horses.
