All of our bottoms are under water. I drove up and looked yesterday and cabins that are raised 15ft above the ground have water in them. Flooding starts at 16ft and it got to 31.5ft. Our kittens are just starting to get out, there is swift water over miles of the flood plain. I'm guessing that we lost this kitten crop. I seen several deer floating. I'm wondering what will happen now. Will they breed again? I know I have seen sows about to pop with kittens in September. Is this what causes that?

Actually, the coons that have late litters are usually last years kittens. I think females from those late litters are more than likely the ones ovulating later in the spring rather than January or February.
