It's with a heavy heart that I share the news of Harold Bailie passing away last night. I spent many many nights in the woods with him and many days in a fishing boat and I count it among the best times of my life.

He was like a brother to me and a father to me and I will miss him like a right hand. In the past several months I talked with him a lot about his faith which was unshakable. I look forward to seeing him again one day in Gloryland.

He was a Lifetime Member of The Black and Tan Association and dedicated B&T man for 7 decades. I know many of you knew him and would want to know if his passing.

So sorry to hear this news. I was just thinking about Harold the other day. I knew he was getting up there in years and wondering how his health was.
Any time I needed a dog Harold was the 1st person I would call. When I was younger I pretty much hunted only his line. He owned probably more than his fair share of good ones. Probably a reason for that.

I'm proud to say I was the one that nominated him for Life time membership and worked hard to help him get elected.

Mark thanks for letting us know. I know he was very important in your life as he was many others.

Heavy hearts here on this news. Harold was a special person. I remember going down to stay with him and hunting with Patsie nd Buckaroo. What a wonderful man. Prayers for Edna and the family.

A great man and a good friend back when Kirksville sectional was big we would always stay together .I would set with him during the bench show at B and t days and we would pick our winners.Never forget the last time I saw him and our conversation .
I know Max and him were very close and traveled a lot together Max and I respected Harold and valued and often sought his opinion on breeding hounds he will be missed

I'm glad you introduced me to him a few years ago at Flora, Mark. I know what it's like to lose someone just like that. Not hardly a day goes by that I don't think of the person I had in my life just like he was to you. My condolences.

I'm very sorry to hear of the passing of Harold. I didn't know him personally, but the way you guys talk about him makes me wish I would have. I'm sure there's quite a few black and tans waiting for him in the happy hunting ground. Until we meet again, my condolences.
