Truck Hunt:

I noticed in all 3 of the Walker hounds in the senior showdown last night, they all had 1 thing in common, Tequilla Sunrise.
In the interviews they all remarked that their hounds were accurate, and the way the cast went, they were all treeing coons!I know that lots of us are critical of Rat Attack and the slick treeing, but we should also give credit when it is due.
Tequilla Sunrise was off Rat Attack, and he is still showing up in a lot of good ones pedigrees.
I had a good one out of Tequilla Sunrise about 11 years ago, he was a dead loner, deadly accurate and the biggest hunting dog I have ever been around, but he also was the most aggrevating animal I ever unleashed!
Before I got my hands on him, someone tried to , with the help of an E collar, make him a dead loner . to a fault, and sometimes he would leave the world!
His name was Pilot, and he could tree coons as easy as any hound ever born, or he could leave the world, but he would be under a coon, when you got to him!
The way I discovered the E collar is shorly after we got him, he disappeared and we looked for him a good while, when we found him, he was wallering a opossum, so we put a E collar on him and lit him up using a opossum, and we found out he had worn a E collar before.
I wish I could of got Pilot as a pup, before anyone messed with him,he was naturally independent, he didn't need all that shocking,he could run any kind of coon, quickly and deadly,I mean impressive, and when he treed, he would be there, allnight, he didn't want to be with anything anyway, and he would have the meat!
Pilot was out of Tequilla Sunrise xNite Ch. female out of Stylish Clover an Rock River Lady, so he was Double Rat Attack.
