Any experience with umbilical heria?

Have a 7 week old pup with one I think. Wondering if it will go away or should I get it removed.
Thanks

My pup had a pretty good size one took her to the vet they said give it till 6 months and every day or two just push it back it. Keep an eye when doing that that its not painful, mine went away prolly by 3 or 4 months. I believe its also hereditary so if you breed her it could pop up. I think 2 or 3 in my females litter had it.

Some of them heal on their own others need surgery. Maybe have a vet check it out? If it's not to bad you can try helping it heal by making sure the gut is back inside the hole, place a quarter over the hole to keep it in and then put vet tape around the belly tight enough to keep the quarter in place
