Anybody have her pedigree? I think she is an important part of dogs being bred today with the River Bend label put on them. My research doesn't name the dogs behind her in my pedigree searches.
She was bred to Stylish Harry and at least two pups out of that cross got the label River Bend put on them. I figured she must of or might have a strong influence and ties to the old River Bend Bloodline.
Just trying to sort though my box of chocolates and see if there are any two alike.
Sires in the 3rd gen are
Stylish Harry
Flatrock Thrasher
Stylish Lipper
Sackett Jr
Dams are
River Bend June II
Rocket City do it Babe
Stewarts Stylish Dolly
Maniacs Hardwood Dixe
Looks like a mixed bag to me.
(Now my post turns to humor)
I see more of a House influence than anything else.
With Sackett Jr there maybe I should think Yadkin River or Dohoney. Maybe with Thrasher I should think Coma or the foundation of the Wipeout Hound. My head hurts trying to figure all this out. Maybe thats why you guys line breed. Easier to remember the pedigrees. lol Ole Joe is the dad, the grandsire the great grandfather and was bred to his niece to get the dam. Wait a minute, can ole joe tree a coon. Yea, a few years ago he did. He never threw anything that could tree a coon, but they sure are pretty and Joe is easy to remember. lol
(now I am dead serious again)
Truth is, in my back yard I don't care where they get it. As long as they got it. If I breed them they better throw it or they won't be doing that again.
If your wondering what IT means. That's a coon in the tree.
From the words of a wise man... Google it. Lol
