320 question Bruce

Mr Conkey just recently when I go to callibrate the compass it takes somtimes 10 - 15 tries before it wil callibrate it has'nt done this in the past it was always easy to callibrate. I use nimh batteries and those are selected in system. I have changed battery types and selected them but still the same thing. I have layed it down and given it time thinking it might not have satellite connection yet but still the same thing. I keep it updated from my computer all the time. I have tried turning it off and back on but it still does the same thing. Last night it took 12 tries before i could get it callibrated. I have ead the book and tried dfferent things trying to fix it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance. And have a blessed day.

.

Mr. Hunter that is one problem that is internal to your handheld and there is no answer on why it does it. One question is does your handheld need to be calibrated that often. I only calibrated my compass on a 320 when I could see on the map page it was starting to get off. It wasn't very often. Sorry I couldn't give more info on it.
