.

There are several out there. The Gizmo Vest that Donnie mentioned gives them about the best protection but are several nylon cases that go on your belt loop that work for some people very well.
Mark Zepp makes a nice leather holster that some people like.

The nylon cases are around $15 at most places with the Gizmo Vest in the mid $20's and for leather your up around $40 There is something for everyone.

i have tried them all ! i live on top of the mountain its dry ground so i don't wear chaps i wear carhartt bibs and knee high boots i carry mine in the inner tool pocket on right leg it slides in snug easy to get out and you don't even know its there even with the longer 15 inch antenna it doesn't catch on brush like it does in a holster on your hips no hanging around your neck you can drive or sit its so comfortable you don't even realize it's there and yes i have forgotten to turn mine off many times after a long hunt bottom line it's safe and its there and this works best for me !

Make yourself a lanyard with a snap and snap it to a belt loop. I use this even with a pouch.

The gizmo vest has a belt clip and a lanyard with a clip and the Garmin is fully functional in it. I've dropped it on pavement more then once. I like it.

Bruce beat me to the punch. The new leather Garmin holder by Zepp is the best I've seen. Really like it. It will clip anywhere and solves the problem of the antenna poking me in the eye that I experience with my Dan's vest, which I like very much other than that point. Look to Mark Zepp for innovative products that are functional and built to last.

Steve if someone doesn't like or trust the clip you can always put your belt through the belt loop. Let the clip hang down and use it for something small your carrying. Like gloves or small pouch. Many different uses

Note on the Gizmo Vest. Since I am promoting them let me share something. I request a long lanyard on the ones I get. Most are shipped to dealers with a short lanyard or wrist strap. Lots of good guys selling them and if you want the long lanyard make sure where your buying it has them that way.
