You know my first love was a Plott I called Stormy. He was treeing his own coon at 5 months old. He was off Dale Brandenbugers Echo dog I do believe. He got hit by a car at 2 years old. I was hunting with John Wick that night. My brother decided to take him a tree a few and he did till one crossed the gravel road and the car broke is back. I quick hunting from 1985- 1994. It took everything out of me. I probably would still be hunting Plotts today. My grandfather hunted Bluetick and that is how I ended up changing breeds. I figure there would never be another dog like Stormy. He treed coon and squirrels during the day and only coon at night. Super smart and big long eared good mouth dog.
