Garmin pro 70
I am looking at getting the Pro 70 to use for training around the house. The alpha is to bulky for this to me. I live on a larger piece of land so range is a concern for me. i have used the Tri Tronics sport basic for years and there have been several instances where i did not have the needed range. My question is what is the real world effective range on this system. I know terrain has a big effect on this. Where i live and land is flat, but the woods are very dense. They actually call it the Big Thicket. I am not interested in the Sportdog systems. Im sure they are good systems but i have used Garmin and Tri Tronics for years and like and trust them. Any help that can be offered on the effective range will be greatly appreciated, i don't want to get the trash breaker but i will if necessary. Thanks in advance for any help. Thanks Dave
