BBOA Bill Turner/Michigan State Championship Oct 14,15. BBOAOhio State Championship.

Both Michigan and Ohio State Champioship will have zone 4 officers on the grounds.
We will have a raffel at the events and will be a fun time for everyone.Crystal Lights/hunting supplies etc.

There will be 3 signed 2015 BBOA Bluebooks from Dave Dean auctioned off at the Bill Turner Memorial/Michigan State Championship and all the procedes going to the Wolverine Club.
George Guthrie and the members of the Wolverine Club have been working hard this year hosting some real nice events.
Also this is the club that is hosting Bluetick Days in 2017. Make Plans on attending.

Jackson County Coon Hunters are hosting the Ohio State Championship on Oct 15th. Woody Galloway is leading the way for the Hunt and Show. We will have zone 4 officers with memberships on the grounds also a raffel.
Thank You October will be a busy month for zone 4. Should be a fun time.

You can come to the Fall Challenge at Milton In. And get that 500.00 plus a real nice high scoring dog of hunt any breed plaque.
Your female sure is tough and very accurate esp. For a blue english.

We hope to add some real nice hunts in next few years. The raffle has some nice prizes. I hope to see you at a few of the hunts.

Next weekend oct 14th and 15th. I want to Thank George Guthrie and Ken Herman for getting this picture of Bill Turner for the plaques. This is also the BBOA State Championship. I'm excited to be going and hope to see a good turnout. Water race and field trials, show and hunt Saturday. Were having a raffle before the hunt.
Crystal Light, lighted Collars, leads, hats, squallers and few other items. Hope to see you there.

I want to say Thank You to the Wolverine State Coon Hunters association for the hospitally over the weekend I'll be posting winners when I get a few extra mins.
Fun meeting and seeing alot of friends there. Dave Dean is a historian and its always a pleasure for me to get to speak with Dave. Kenny Herman, Roy Puckett. Thanks for the memories.

BBOA Ohio State Championship

What happened to all the Bluetick hunters. Six "6" total dogs at this hunt. One"1" Gr.Nt. Blue dog entered, had to hunt by himself. Two "2" Nt Ch. Blue females hunted in a 2 dog cast. One "1" Registered Blue female Hunted in a 3 Dog cast. That was it for the Ohio State Championship. I am new to these comp hunts, but was disappointed at the turn out. I thought there would be more Blueticks there.

Good question, thought there was a lot of Blue Hounds in the area. We have drove 5 plus hours to two events and both was on them low side. Officers trying different things to try to draw more Blue Hounds and get more members. Time will tell!

I was shocked too. I blame it on cory he told everybody he was bringing RipTide and scared everybody. Just Kidding Cory.
Corey Thank You for making the drive to Ohio again and Congratulations to you and Tide for getting King again.

When the new officers took over these hunts were already scheduled with ukc.
Our directors have been working on a 2 night Ohio State Championship for next year.

2 night Zone 4 championship that will be held in Indiana next year.
Pending site.

The Indiana State Championship is a 2 nighter and will be held in The month of march..

Zone 4 is also adding a Hunt dog of year award and a show dog of year award.working on a point system. The winner will getva full color page ad in the bluebook.
We have one more hunt left at Milton In on the 29th of oct. We hope to see a good turnout
