I have seen it hit dogs in different ways, I have seen some that acted like you would if you had the Flu and they would be real weak acting and would not eat and would have the runs and clear to yellow strings of Flem hanging from their nose, I have also seen their head swell up and it looked like a big knot that can be runny and crusted and discharge from nose and ear or ears and the dog may seem stopped up until it bust and then it will drain although it may not have the same symptoms as the other in this case, It can spread from dog to dog and i think it effects their nose once they get it and the ones i have seen that had it bad they could not smell no where close to what they once could .
