According to my crystal ball its gonna happen.
The ball has a smudge on it so I cant make out for sure who it is, but its absolutely a red dog.

Oh my goodness, this is already a record year. Seven, yeah count em, seven Redbones have made it to the World Finals. I can not ever remember that many making it. Surely, this is the year. There are some "experienced" and "consistant" big time winners on that list and there are some relative newcomers.
Who it is going to be?

Danno
T
Shine
Willy
Buck

Daisy
Lick

High scores are out the window now. From here on out, cast winners advance. I can't wait to see what happens starting Thursday night. Greencastle hunting can be tuff and unpredictable. A whole lot depends on whether the coons are cooperating or not. They can be easy pop up trees or deep and lonely trees. Every night is different up there.

Nobody has a "favorite" that they want to share? Will someone finally win that $5,000? There are two "Kates" and/or "Peppers". I will let y'all decide which. There is one "Ranger" and/or "Coffman". I think that Buck is a "Ranger" but Johnny probably thinks that he is a "Smoky". I bet that everyone in South Carolina is rooting for Smokin Red Buck. There is a "Ghost X Sister". I bet that Royce and all of the Fireballers are pulling for Danno if they will admit it. There is one cowboy with a "Rusty" old female. Surely she is the Okies' favorite. And there are two "unknowns" from Iowa. Who is it going to be?

I am pulling for the fireball dog Danno. If I am not mistaken the only red dog ever in the final four was GRNITECH Fireball Jackpot Jackie.

Ranger himself made it in the Top 20 and was World Champion Redbone in 2010. His son Woody made it and was World Champion Redbone in 2014. Will Smokin Red Buck make it this year?

Moonshine made it into the Top 20 last year and was World Champion Redbone. Will he repeat this year? Has any dog ever done it 2 years in a row?

The pressure is building.

Oh my goodness, I think that Smokin Red Buck's Great Granddad on his mom's side was in the Top 20 way back in 1998 also.

And T's grandmother on the top and bottom is Gr Nt Nighty Nite Moonlight Kate who was in the top 20 in 2004 and 2007. So, this will be the third time that a Nighty Nite dog is in the finals. Will Nighty Nite T win this year?

I guess that it seems to run in some "families".

Didn't Richard come from the Walker breed? 5-6 yrs is prime for most Redbones. There are definitely exceptions in the breed. Too the Max was in his prime at 3 as well as Brunswick Little Man. I'd say for most of the Timber Chopper males though 5-6 is their best competition years. Biggert's T is prime for a big win here and he likes those Indiana coon.

Probably time to just give her away. Shes already been to crab orchard anyway. She would be right at home with her three legged sister

If you look at a 5-6 generation pedigree on all 7 of these dogs, what dog shows up the most?

Looking good for the redbones for sure... If I am correct, nearly 1/3 of those entered have made it to the finals?? 7 out of 22.... any breed would be proud of that!

Mosquito Creek Lick - Sandy Creek Jake top and bottom.

Willy - Sandy Creek Jake and Hoffmiester.

Moonshine - Jake and Pepper.

But really after the 3rd Generation stuff is so diluted does it really matter.
