I'd love to be joining you all but the MN bboa state hunt is set for same date cause nobody wanted to mention this hunt when dates were being decided at zone meeting! SMH!

Weather is starting to change as fall is closing in on us. Should make for better hunting conditions at this event. Hope to see a lot of you around the area attending this event. Always good to see old friends and make new ones, so come on out.

Come on over, about 3 1/2 hrs. down I80, up 380 to Cedar Rapids, E on 30 & up 151 to anamosa. Good motels there or camping available . Should be a good hunt if weather cooperates. Me & Terry will probably have a little 'grudge' hunt in GRNT's, if you want to watch??? Take care, Ron

Good luck @ zone Ron & grudge matches are the best to watch.
My girls aren't ready to comp hunt yet. I've been letting them be farm pups, learn to use their heads & basic handling commands. Just now starting to show them on bench, they didn't know quite what to think last weekend.

Sorry to hear you won't be hunting in the zones, but I also have a nice young female out of Rex I plan to bring to this hunt. So maybe we can get a match there with some young ones.

I go into work at 2am on Sundays. I'm the kitchen manager at the local Casey's & have been covering the doughnut shift for an employee who had a baby in July. We're also short staffed, not going to complain I like the overtime.

We've had a couple inches last few days, but except for big river bottoms, you won't have to worry about hunting any deep water. Better tracking than bone dry conditions. Take casre, Ron.
