DC 50 continuous red light?

Continuous red light. Happened while hunting. Will not cut off or on. No response when place on charge. Will updates or master reset help? Could be time to trade up...
Any help send it. Thx

I'm no expert, just try to follow a logical trail on such things. First thing is disconnect the battery for a couple minutes and let everything reset. I doubt that will do it in this case, but worth a shot.

If that doesn't do it, next thing would be the On/Off switch you will see located on the board when you take it apart to disconnect the battery. . Make sure it's clicking and not stuck in between.

I doubt it will take any updates when it's not functioning properly, but I could be wrong.

Plug the collar into charge. Press the power button 5 times. It should "chirp" after each press then after the final time it should tone 3 or 4 times. This should reset the collar without having to taking the collar apart to access the battery.

Good to know. Is that the same for a DC 30?

No it does not work with the 30/40s. You will need to take them apart and unplug the battery. I have never tried a TT10/15 or T5 but would imagine it works the same with them as the 50s.

.

Duck is correct. Hold the off/on button down 30 seconds and it should clear up.
