UKC, Online Litter reg.

I think it could use some tweeking. I tried to reg a litter online because I thought it would be faster. Almost a month later still don't have pup papers. The problem, I was sent an email to verify the dam's info the day I reg them. I responded the same day. I do not use email but knew I had to check because of reg online. I checked for a week to see if I had to verify the Sire. No email. I stopped checking email and begain checking the mailbox for papers. The sire verification was sent to my email 10 days after I had reg. the litter. Now it will have been a month since I reg the litter. Guess I should have sent it in by mail.

Verify

I have never used the online litter registration. When you say verify, what do you mean. Is it something in addition to the application or something on the application to begin with?

They send the sire and the dam owner an email saying a litter is being reg. with there sire or dam. You have to reply to the email with date that the sire/dam papers where processed by UKC. If you don't reply to the email 2 or 3 wks later they send you another email saying you didn't respond to the 1st email. I guess your screwed if you don't use email.

I've used the online litter registration twice now with no problems and have gotten my papers quickly both times.

I just recently used it for the first time with no issues and had the papers in less than a week. An email account you can monitor on a daily basis is a must for this to work efficiently. It also helps to have both the sire and dam verification emails sent to the same email address if one of the two does not monitor their emails regularly or have an email account.

Vic that is what I did used one email address. They sent the email for the dam right away but didn't send the email for the sire till 10 days later!! since I don't use email at all I stopped checking it after a week and figured the papers were on there way. I have always gotten them in 2 to 2 1/2 weeks when I mailed them in. Guess I should have stuck to the old way.
