1st night out after summer off

Took the last 6 months off and decided to hit it last night. My dog looked terrible. You would've thought she had never been in the woods before. Anybody else have this issue? I figured a few more nights and she will straighten herself out.

Same thing happened to me. I had not hunted Lucy since May. Took her a few weeks ago and she ran armadillos and a rabbit. But I took her the other night ( second night back out) and she done good.

Finally cooled down enough to get them out, went three times last week. It took some time to get them going after a couple of drops they turned it on. 3 trees three coons. Had to tote dog back to the truck due to being out of shape and 73 degrees. After getting the dogs loaded up killed a copperhead, to risky for me going to let it cool down some more and get back after them. But it's hard to resist the urge to load the box and listen to a hound sing
