I am so sorry to hear of his passing.
My female is a grand daughter of his old Fugley dog. A few years ago I had some pups out of her for sale and posted some pictures. He called to say one of the male pups looked exactly like Fugley.
We talked for over an hour. I really enjoyed his honesty and knowledge of the English breed. I wish I could had a face to face with him. That would have been a treat.
My prayers sent and condolences to his family!
