My Husband, Jerry Shaffer ,passed away in April 2015. I should have posted this before now but have been having a hard time dealing with his passing. I am going to have to make a move and decide whether to sell Our Place here in WV or try to hang on to Our Place. I am leaning towards selling and being able to have all the good memories of Jerry. The Training Facility has not been open since Jerry's health started deteriorating in 2010. I cannot afford the upkeep of the property and etc. Just wanted to let everyone know of his passing.

Yvonne, I am very sorry to hear of this. You & Jerry treated me first class both times I brought a hound for you to work with. As has already been mentioned, keep your head up & keep on plugging. Much easier said than done.

You & Jerry had a beautiful place there! Treasure all of those great memories. I wish you nothing but the best with whatever you decide.

My son drew Jerry a couple of times in night hunts , He treated my son with great amount of respect . Jerry was running the Last Chance dog at that time.

Sorry to hear that Yvonne you all started several pups for me when you had West Virginia sky there they were out of him and made coon dogs would love to have that old blood back again sorry for your loss jerry was a nice guy I enjoyed my hunts in the training pens and really enjoyed watching old bucky putting a hurt on them dogs that tried to run him
