I have an 8 month old pup out of boomer x misty cross. I have never trained a pup before so looking for a little help. He will tear apart a cage to get a coon but doesn`t tree as good as I think he should (maybe I`m asking to much being he is only 8 months) what is everybodys favorite methods for starting pups?

He's still young. Don't expect too much. I wouldn't mess with a caged coon again. Just go hunting.
