American Redbone Days VS National Redbone Days

Hey guys, me and a buddy are wanting to go to one of the Redbone days. We were talking about the NRCA Redbone days at the end of June in Michigan but it's looking like that one may interfere with family vacation. The ARCA Redbone days would work out better for me. My question is one of them a bigger event than the other or are they about the same?

It really depends on the location of the hunt. Bellevue, MI tends to draw big numbers because the hunting is good and the coon are thick. I don't think it's going to feel any bigger though and the weather in June is usually cooler than the blistering heat of July 4th weekend. They are both good hunts that offer a lot. I'd plan around your family vacation and pick the one that fits your timing best. If you go to Bellevue in July, get a motel room with good A/C and a nice pool. You're gonna need it. 😜

Remember US Redbone Days is held in August each year too.

Tennessee you'll see a few coons. Michigan you'll likely see more coons in one night than you will see all three nights in Tennessee. Both are fun hunts. If your dog does good in thin coon I'd go to American Days. If your dog does better in thick coon I'd go to Michigan. Temps vary. I was in Trenton at American Days in June a few years back and it was hot and there are plenty of snakes. My buddy's dog got bit. Bellevue a couple years ago at National Days temps were in the 50's on the 4th of July. Pleasant hunting and action packed.

Redbone days

Thanks guys. I hunt in thin coons 99% of the time here in eastern Kentucky. Looks like National redbone days is out cause we'll be driving back from Florida on June 30th so I hope to make American. Where can I find info on US redbone days in August?
