He was out of Albert II and Robin.

II died young in a freak accident.

His mother was old Robin, a sister to Rambo II I believe.

Albert III was a big, good looking dark hound with a tremendous mouth, powerhouse tree dog and a little tight on the ground.

Albert

Thanks John. Do you know what happen to him? Just curious. Roughly How many pups he had and how'd he reproduce? I'm about to get a female outta him and I know she's a good one but wanted some info on Albert. I'm familiar with most of the older hounds but along Alberts time I was outta the hound business. Who owned him

Gary sold him, I believe to a man in Alabama.

I had a couple of pups out of him early on, when Gary still owned him, but had hard luck with them and didn't get either of them raised.

I don't know how he reproduced.

I personally saw the dog look really good.

I think he threw some really nice dogs and wasn't bred to a whole lot.

I have a grand daughter here, out of Big Time Albert that is the real deal.

He was a powerhouse tree dog, very quick, and liked to get alone.

Big motor.

The two things I would fault him on were that he was too tight on the ground to suit me, and he was light eyed.

Tight

I'm ok with tight mouth a little. It's much better than a loose mouth to me but that's all a preference. I remember a little about him but that's it. One of the females I'm picking up is tight mouth but she's all coon dog.

Albert 3

The male my pups are out of was a first strick dog and a first tree dog if he was in good company. Otherwise he would leave and find one on his own. That was way he never made it to grand he was still a nt ch.

Hey Andy how is your female bred on bottom side? Is she tight on track?

Todd, I mis-typed. She is a grandpup of Albert III on top and Rambo bred on the bottom. Some tracks she opens pretty good on and some she's a little quite.
