There is a lot of old Gr.Nt. Ch. Diamond Jim breeding represented here.
Tom Dulley- Was out of a Father/Daughter cross. Carpenters Smokey was a grandson of Diamond Jim.
Darby's Three Thumpin Vampire- He was out of B.J., which was all Diamond Jim bred. B.J. was out of a brother/ sister cross. Every dog in his pedigree went back to Diamond Jim through Combs Smokey River Jack X Diamond Jim females.
Clear River Curley, and Tramp were grandpups of Dot's Mandy, the dam of Smokey River Spud. Mandy was out of Dot, and Dot was out of Diamond Jim.
Henry goes back to Diamond Jim, not through just one dog, but through several different dogs (males and females) which went back to Diamond Jim. I like that better than being connected through just one dog. J/M/O
If you like Smokey River Breeding, don't pass ole Henry up. I will only breed him to a few select females (must look good on paper and IN THE WOODS) . He is a coon dog and he reproduces coon dogs.
I know several dogs out of Henry that can't be bought. He's only been bred a few times to different females. Dogs out of Henry are doing good, and they are reproducing good hounds.
