They flood all the good hunting for ducks. Which is why I hate everything about duck hunting. I wish every duck tame and wild were dead lol. We only get it in the summer when leaves are on. Have to have a boat to get in during winter. With all of the rain recently, I'd bet it will be tough to find good dry ground.

In the last few years around here its been dry in the winter and closed for flooding 1/2 the summer. Hurricane was dry all winter last year and the year before.

I don't live around Hurricane. Dave Donaldson. You have to have a boat to get in. And then it's only dry in some places during the Winter. During the Summer it's all dry. But the best time of the year (no leaves) it's flooded. I wish they would do a 3 on 1 off type of deal. Or only flood certain sections each year.

Ring slough is about 40 acres right on Hwy 62. Also lots of water. 7 inches of rain in the last 2 days.
