Turkey and Amber
Everyone seems to know Turkey, a little info about Amber. Amber was put in her first UKC hunt at 11 months old winning first place. She went on to make NTCH as a one year old in 4 hunts with two first and a third. I didn't hunt Amber in the hunts as a two year old. We got back at it a little this year and won 4 NTCH cast however, that only resulted in one win. She also hunted in 2 CHKC hunts this summer winning one of them. In all of these cast I have only treed Amber 2nd one time, every other time I treed her first, mostly alone.
She does not mind a dog treeing with her but she is looking to get treed alone. She is also very accurate, it is not uncommon for other dogs to tree several more times than her in a two hour hunt, but she usually bypasses those circle trees and ends up by herself. I intend to finish Amber to GRNT, after these pups are weaned I'll get back at it.
I can provide references on her ability, pm me if you like, they will be walker men because that's about all I ever draw out with. Thanks for your interest, Jim.
