Kyle and I would like to introduce CH. GRNITECH. Late Night Crook and her pups. Here at the Late Night Treeing Walker Kennels, nestled in the small valley of Tiskilwa, Illinois, we strive to help the Treeing Walker breed by targeting for big hearted, coon treeing hounds with consistent ability.

A little about Crook:
Crook was weaned, raised, and trained here in the same kennels she lives in today.

Crook runs track with a loud, unique squall.

She comes treed with a long, impressive locate.

Crook is an intense, slobber-mouth tree dog.

Most importantly, Crook is an intelligent hound with a big heart. Crook is the type of hound that is fun to hunt and can put you in places you have never been before.

Crook has only been bred twice with 9 living pups.
Her oldest pup is a male out of GRNITECH. Skuna River Bear. The young dog’s name is Late Night Fred. Fred is also here at the Late Night Kennels.
Crook’s second litter of 8 is out of PKC CH. GRCH. GRNITECH. Charley Creek Big Mike. We co-own a female with Dick Brothers, along with a male co-owned with Terry Goforth.

Here are a few pictures of Ike - Big Mike / Crook male pup right at 4 months old. He is training and is running and treeing and not 5 months old yet. We will send some videos and pictures of a real action packed pup hopefully by the end of Nov.. Our goal is to hunt him the Spring Baby Stakes. We do have high hopes for Ike!

Dick, thanks a lot, if can do half as good with our kennel as you have yours we'll being doing good. Congrats with your continued success with Mike in the hunts.

Mark, Ike sure is a nice looking pup, ol Mike sure puts some color in his pups. Good luck with him and please keep us updated on him.

Aaron Nieland , came home from work and his pup was treed on a coon will be 5 months old the 29 of Oct another pup doing good out of this cross

Kyle I seen where you and Crook advanced last night at the Big one. Have to go to work and won't see late round results until later but good luck anyhow.

Good hearing from you, Dick and Mark.

We hunted Crook Monday and Tuesday down in Salem at the PKC World Hunt. We drew out with Hillbilly Deluxe and Mister Overdrive on Monday night. That cast was a lot of fun with multiple split trees. 2 of the 4 trees she was on were by herself, 1 coon and 1 den tree. Got beat by Overdrive on a really close hunt. Tuesday night we won our cast in the pouring down rain. 2 of the 3 trees she split with a coon. In the late round on Tuesday, she blew out of pocket after scoring the first tree in the first 15 minutes of the hunt. The rain was coming down hard with three dogs opening. We unfortunately walked in the opposite direction of her the whole night. We sure had a lot of fun hunting with a lot of nice dogs and handlers. Sure would have been nice to stay dry on Tuesday though. Crook has never been pushed in PKC, but the cast win on Tuesday finished her to a PKC Champion in the handful of casts she has been in.

Aaron Nieland's pup sounds impressive. It sure is a lot of fun watching them progress. We plan to get the two pups here out of the Big Mike and Crook cross out this coon season.
