Breeding ?

I am not a math wiz but joe was talking about ole backwards willie having 5000 pups if sombody started breeding him at 2 yrs old how many females would he have to breed to have 5000 pups by time he was 10yrs old let's say an average of 8 pups a litter you talk about running the well dry lol!!

Well,5,000 pups in a 5 year time frame means 1,000 pups per year,and at 8 pups per female,it would take exactly 125 females,,
That's what I call a busy dog,,,lol
