Rampage and me again tonight. Coons won this one. He treed on a huge double poplar in a clearcut. The tree didn't have all that many leaves on it but the understory was terrible. You couldn't see 10'-12' above your head no matter how you moved close enough for a shot. I saw the coons, BOTH of them from about 75 yards out at the edge but that was too far to shoot and feel like I would be sure of hitting where I wanted. There will be another night. All this pics I made standing on a snag shooting down on him. The one pic ground level you can get an idea how thick it was.
