GRCH Tucker Red Tree's 'em up

GRCH Corbin's Tucker Red wasn't started at 3 months, hasn't been nitehunted as a pup, nor does he have an complete GRNITECH pedigree. But as a just turned 2 year old, he's turning out to be an honest coonhound on his own, no pup trainer.

He's a long bawl on track and a booming bawl/chop on tree who runs a track quickly and gets treed with the meat. On a typical night he's running 50-100 yard circles around as we walk through the woods but if i cut him loose and stand he'll get out 500 yards- half a mile quick to get treed. He will get on a hot porcupine from time to time and occassionally doesn't have the coon, but getting better all the time.

He doesn't have an all grand pedigree, but his litter is littered many times with big winners and reproducers that we hope he can follow in their footsteps.

Heard comments from a walker man to his son, after a rare Tucker water race last summer that 'just because a dog can swim doesn't mean it can tree a coon' Well you may be right, but this redbone is proving you wrong on each of the 6 days a week that we hit the woods. Sooner rather than later this dog will be out in the hunts and hopefully headin to the winners' circle. Thanks for the read and hopefully you'll be hearing much more of this dog in the near future!

#3 from 4 drops and 4 trees

third drop of the night, with the third tree. 4 total that night. Only seen 1 of em but the other 3 in thickkk hemlock trees. If the tree he's treeing on don't have leaves, you'll find the bandit in it. New snake eyes red light will take care of those hemlocks, if not the banshee squaller should when it gets here. First drop of the night treed at .6 miles from where we cut em

Thumbs up Did well

Thanks Hersh, yep, tucker got it done again Friday night, in only his first few comp hunts he has 2 first places by gettin split and having the coon. He checked a tree the other 3 dogs treed on but we couldn't find it, then he got in behind 180yds past them and had the coon, stayed put thru full ten of shine time and squallin. Saturday night he ended up pullin off tree without pressure and then the others ended up treein there after he left, so I withdrew him and we'll keep workin, I guess that's not too surprising with a young dog. Lookin forward to makin it up to your club in a month Hersh

thanks

thanks hersh,
Tucker somehow pulled out another 1st place win to make Nitech. It wasn't flawless tho. he split off a slick from the others to have his own only to pull off that tree to go to another tree that also had the meat, so there was some minus in there. But finished the hunt by splittin off over 500yds to a tree and stayin put, but unfortunately had to circle cuz I just couldn't see through the leaves. He isn't perfect and still needs work, hopefully we can get him there.
-Congrats hersh on getting your female one step closer to show ch
