I use the Crimson Trace LG-403 on my Ruger Mark II with 10" bull barrel and love it, beats carrying a rifle.

You might want to lean against a tree that little red dot is hard to hold steady, but I have enjoyed mine. They send you free batteries, you just have to call them.
