I couldn't be a more proud Papa and son today. Lane has hunted and worked hard towards this. And tickled to death for my dad(Lou) whose been following a hound for nearly 60 years.
You see I'm usually in the middle of all that fun when all 3 of us go to a hunt somewhere. But last Thursday I had to have emergency surgery to put in a pacemaker in Indianapolis and couldn't make it to Flora. Just like an old Halmark or Disney movie I'm laying in the hospital bed watching the pbp. You talk about testing out a new pacemaker (Lol).
As for Pepper she was just having fun like always. Don't have full pedigree in front of me but she does go back to Nocturnal Nailor and Nocturnal Skipper.
Thanks to everyone's kind words and well wishes from all across this great nation.
This title is for all those old school coonhunters and country coondogs.
As always come and go huntin. We would love to take you.

I know you sure have to be proud of your Pepper female.Lane did a great job handling her also . From what I have been around Lane he seems to be a fine young man who seems to coon hunt for the love of the sport and the fellowship that comes along with it.This is sometimes lost in the compition world. I'm Glad to see him and Pepper accomplish a win of this magnitude to show that you can win and still have a good time accomplishing it..
