Pedigrees DO NOT tree coons. This cross is meant to throw some coon dogs. I try to cross Mable on a stud that has strength in her weaknesses and vice versa. I hunted Hoss for several nights here at my place. He is a nice dog that opens well on a track and moves it accordingly. Mable loves to tree those layups. Both are independent but both will tree with other dogs if they have nothing going on.

It is a plus having such a pedigree but that is not why I made this cross. I did not ignore it either. You are talking some awesome outstanding blood with great reproducers.

I had a great dog out of Bayou Blue Clyde and I always loved Heather so it caught my eye when I seen that blood.

Hoss has only been bred to 4 females and all 4 are GrNtCh's. That should tell you something.
