Diamond deluxe or Owens?

Which box would you buy?

Or problems of either one.

Both are nice, I like the Owens better though. Built a lot stronger in my opinion.

Dog Box

I bought one from Ross Metal Works at B&T Days this year. Real nice box and was $100's cheaper than other ones I looked at just like it.

I have the Diamond Deluxe and really like it. I'm sure how it compares to the Owens.

I have owned a couple Owens with top and bottom storage. The vent covers rattled a lot when I was going down the road. If I got on a bumpy road it drove me crazy. Other than all the rattling and banging they were nice boxes.

My diamond deluxe is 15 years old, wouldn't trade it for a new one. Either way you can't go wrong

Welds

Mine cracked everywhere doors would not stay shut, called them they was very rude, they did not care one bit, it was only a couple years old. I personally will never buy anything from Owens again!! I understand things may happen or you could get some bad material but poor & ignorant customer service is not how to conduct business, I didn't expect a new one for free but a good deal on another one & I offered to send it back for them to look at on my expense but they thought that was funny.

Same here I have had mine re welded about all over, and fight with the doors all the time and have to lock the the top storage to just get it to stay shut.

Owens boxes

I have had two Owens top storage, four seasons boxes. One for small, one for full size truck. Both were very well built boxes. No problems with welds or latches.

Ihave a diamond deluxe and my only complaint with it is when it rain it gets wet on the inside from the doors to about 2 inches back. No big deal but for the price of them they should stay dry. Other than that i like it.
